More than likely it's a 2 stroke unless an XR???? change the spark plug!!!
if you think it's a carb problem, pull the fuel supply hose off to insure gas is getting to the carb first. drop the main jet plug on the bottom of the carb or drop the bowl (3-4 screws) and check for trash in fuel. remove main jet to see if trash is caught there… back to my first thought… it was running fine and just quit??? spark plug fouled…
