Do I Need A Good Battery To Have Spark On My Dirt Bike?

I have a 1969 honda trail 70….do i need a good battery to get a spark?

That would be an SL70 ??

No , Battery Not required , Was only there to run Lights & Horn

Spark is Via a Magneto in the Engine Case .
