Ok so im turing 16 and will be able to drive soon but i also want to learn how to ride a motorcycle but im goin to wait till im 18 to start that. My question is do you think it will be easyer to ride a motorcycle if i learn how to ride my friends yamaha500 dirtbike or is a motorcycle totally diffrent

What dirt can teach ,especially the wet or sandy kinds, is a sense of how little or more is needed to stay up and keep on going. By paying attention to the bike's reactions when using the clutch or gas or rear brake controls to get into and outta situations will make you understand the balance and reactions that affect a bikes handling. Especially in ruts and turns. You'd be pushing the envelope and riding in a way that you'll likely not ever do in most asphalt road situations.
Watch out! You might have so much fun you'll never get onto a paved road! Drive safe.
