The same way that you ride an automatic. You still have to work through the gears, but simply using the clutch. NOW, you can get away without using the clutch when riding, but you have to have a good deal of riding experience, and be able to HEAR the peak rpms of the engine. Careful to not putz up your gears though. It is tough to learn, but once you get it you will never use the clutch except to start and stop. (That is how I do it!!)
