First one and was thanking about a 125 or 150 something like that

Yam's usually outperform but need more repair. They're a pleasure to work on. The only Honda I prefer is the 99 – 2005 cr250r. (2 stroke). If I was buying new I'd get a Yam for sure. The honda 4 stroke mx bikes have been splitting their valve seats and cost major $$$ to repair.
I'm getting my first dirt bike…done the quad thing and want something different.
We are looking at these Giovanni bikes..
I know there are better ones but getting it for cheap…like $300bucks cheap.
Is this a good starter bike?….for an adult…5foot4?
Do you have one, do you like it, does it give you problems, is the kick start hard?/???????
Anything else you can tell me about them would be appreciated…keep it simple and explain PLEASE… I am mechanically…..stupid.

Yes, I had one and I think is a great dirt bike to get started.
Does anyone know?

4stroke? so like a CRF100, probably about 45.
Probably less, I have a TT-R125 and that'll go about 50, 55 on a good day.

I got a little mini dirt bike and one of my friends says I can take it out to Fiesta Island to ride, but I can't find anything about it. Can I? I'm not going to be doing any jumps…just teaching a couple of friends to ride on my 125 (that's the size of an 80).
It's not the kind you have to register.
Oh, and yes- Fiesta Island in San Diego, CA
i actually went there and there are signs posted for no off-roading.

Fiesta Island, San Diego? If the bike is not licensed, my bet is no. You might get away with it for awhile, but if the police catch you, they might want to write a ticket.
I am a girl and i ride a Suzuki. My brother rides a Honda or something. So does mydad. My mom rides a Kawasaki.
TO Melissa T: You asked the size. Its a 110. How old are your girls? I think it's great to get them started in dirtbiking/motocross!! Do you want some tips?

If they are young still, teach them to ride a bycycle early, it should help alot.

My wife rides both street and dirt dikes with me. She loves it. She has a TTR-125 dirt bike and rides the crap out of it. And she has a Suzuki Savage 650 she rides alot.
I just got a brand new kx 125, first bike (yahoo!) my question : are their any pre wash prep I should do, when sprqaying off the mud/dirt with one of those high pressure hoses? Like lubeing the chain etc.
or after wash care.
or after wash care.

A good pre ride tip is to spray under your mud guards with wd40 or similar, this will help mud and dirt come off easier. you can buy an exhaust plug that fits in the end of your muffler to prevent water getting in. leave the chain on until you have finished washing the bike.high pressure are fine to use just avoid directly spraying around wheel bearings and swing arm pivots. i use cheep degreaser on the chain and back rim and any car wash for the rest of the bike.
when your done and the bike is clean and dry i use a spry on furniture polish on all the plastics, it will help to keep them looking new and make them easier to clean.then remove the chain wipe it clean and dry with a rag then hang it somewhere warm and spray it with chain wax, while you let it hang for a bit remove your air cleaner and wash it,dry it and re oil it.re fit the chain and adjust it. a quick spray around all the pivots like foot pegs with wd 40 or similar, and your good to go again.

Sorry Cr 125 not 135

" Whic ….. h dirt bike do I recommend? "
The one that your Mommy and Daddy will buy you.
Ask them for the cheque book first.
What size dirt bike should i get next a cr 125 , or a crf 230, or a 250 im 15 years old 125 pounds and i got a honda 100 xr right now

Like i said before get a 125
yz, cr, rm etc
i like the yz that i have
they are the fastest bikes in that class and they are made ready to race.
put some new pro circuit pipes on it and vForce reed valves and that thing will be a killer on the track
they are ALOT cheaper to fix and to maintain than 4 strokes.
the parts are really cheap too.
you could spend over 2000 on a blown up 4 stroke motor.
and less than 800 on a 2 stroke.
i would get the cr125 sice you want a honda these are great too my friend has one and they have awesome stock supension.
good luck

Ive got a DRZ-125L and im gettin a jet kit for it soon, but i wanted to know if theres anything i can ajust on the bike to give it more torque / power. And what kind of differences will it makes to get front / rear sprokets with more teeth?

You can change the sprockets to gear it up for more top end speed but you will sacrifice low end power doing so. along with the jet kit you should be looking at air box mods for better air flow, aftermarket header pipe and muffler possibly an aftermarket cam. but then again why not just spend all that extra money on a bigger bike?

Ok, most def a 125 is too small for you, 250cc is about what you need, If your looking for speed get a 2 stroke engine with a power band and a jetted carb. If your just looking for something to ride casually and you don't want to show-off on it, get a stock 4 stroke.
Two-stroke engines have the potential for about twice the power in the same size because there are twice as many power strokes per revolution.
I'f your just starting out riding dirtbikes and don't know how very well DO NOT GET A 2 STROKE.
Start out with a 4 stroke or you might kill yourself, fast dirbikes are very dangerous, I know from experience.
other than that a 125 is too small for you, I have a 250 and I'm 5'8'' 155lbs.
