I have a Giovanni 49cc mini dirt bike 2 stroke. I bought it brand new and it works fine. When the choke is fully on, it runs great and when its warm enough I try turning the choke off but the whole bike shuts down. When I decrease the choke and try to run it, it won't move even on a full rev! I think it's something with adjustment. Any ideas?
One of 2 things come to mind. 1st remove your spark plug and replace it if its black and sooty. if that doesnt fix it, sounds like the pilot jet or slow speed jet is clogged in the carb, which is kind of technical and you may need to take to a local shop to have repaired…hope this helps

Its not a possibiltiy your gonna get hurt its just how bad and when every time i ride my bike i get hurt most the time not bad enough to put it away but what happens is after a while of riding you get relaxed and think your in control and on a bike its not about being in control its about keeping guidance of the bike cause as soon as you think your in control the bike will let you know who is really boss i've had a 49cc bike put me back in my place after getting to cocky and thinking this little thing i can make it do what i want and it doesnt have enough power to hurt its self nexted thing you know at 50mph going down the road the bike was riding me lol so its not about if its when

I ave changed the carb and replaced the air filter…
it wont start when the choke is off so i turn it on and it starts and after a while when the engine heats up i turn it off and it cuts out…..

Hi,
Strip the carb bowl off, remove the float assembly
where centre bolt attached bowl, inside that tube is the jet and emulsion tube
Carefully unscrew this jet and clean with compressed air or if your lucky your breath ??
Muck in the carb…. but they are not the best quality
I have bought several none runners off ebay and everyone its been a quick fix …. dirty carb
Try and put a small inline filter within the line …. I modified them with a longer hose to adapt them and had no problem
If the carbs mullered….. you can buy them off ebay for £11 + delivery
Oh….. have you checked the reed valve after the carb… ? sometimes these break or dont seal correctly ??
This might be the fault you have…. due to choke ??
I am 13 about 5 foot 6 and was wandering if anyone could recomend a bike.this bike would have to be quite cheap also i would only ride it for fun not take part in competions and it would have to be capable of some jumps.

There are a ton of people who just take the little 50cc dirtbikes and add tons of after market stuff to make them what they want. I know my hubby ( who rides a 450cc dirtbike) really wants a 50cc to play around and jump on. They are pretty cheap too. If you want something a little bit bigger I would probably go with a 125. I'm 5'2" and ride a honda crf 150.
By the way 50cc bikes are pit bikes.

My son has been asking for one of those pocket bike dirt bike things for quite a while and i was wondering what the recommended age would be for one of them. He is 12. And they also look a little small for him, so if he could handle something bigger what would it be? A 90cc? Thanks.
Those bikes are for 4 to 6 years of age. At 12, depending on his height, something in the Honda CRF-F line would be perfect. Either the 80 or 100. Just drop by your local dealership to see which fits best. Once you know that you can shop for used if you'd like. The bikes are almost bullet proof so you can generally buy used without much concern of problems.
