Cant Find Insurance For A Dirt Bike, Ontario, Canada?

Hello

I have YZ250 Dirt Bike; it’s strictly a competition dirt bike. It has been designed to be only a off road vehicle by Yamaha.

I cannot find insurance for this bike,
I do have a off-road plate from the Ministry of Transportation.
Every insurance company I call says they don’t insure off road vehicles. I also do not have a motorcycle licence, which is not needed to ride a off-road bike.

Does anybody out there have insurance on a dirt bike in Ontario, Canada
If so who’s your insurance company?
Do you have a motorcycle License?

Try these companies they all sell atv insurance in Canada….Primmum , Monnex , TD Insurance in Nova Scotia, Statefarm , Portage la Prairie and Allstate.

What are all the requirments to keep myself from being sued? Riders and racers will be able to practice and compete for prize money on this track. It will be a business racing track. I need some strong advice!

Contact your local governing body of motorcycle sport in whatever country you are in for the correct information. In America that would be the AMA and in Australia MA.

Dirt Bike Through Mud And Snow?

Can you ride a dirt bike through mud and snow or will it not move. if so will an atv go through mud and snow

For snow/ice you get spike tires. If it's higher than youre axles stay out of it.

Im debating between a 08 yamaha raptor se custom quad, yahmaha tt-r125le dirt bike, or kawasaki klx 140 dirt bike, im 14 and i previously owned a honda dirtbike
i had a honda dirt bike before but i wanna make a change which should i get

Kawasaki cause they last along time and go very fast lol 4 stroke tho cause then u can barly ride it if its a 2 stroke cause of the red stickers but ya there great bikes lol i have one and race it and i get 1st,2nd,3rd every time lol

I'm not from around there so I don't know which ones are close to you.

Should I Learn To Ride On Dirt Bike Or Sport Bike?

I want to learn to ride a sport bike. A friend who owns a 600cc honda told me to start on a dirt bike but can I buy a low CC sport and learn on that and have it be the same? Thanks
Well If I got a sport bike first I wouldn't ride it on the street until I learned properly on back streets. But please tell me if this is a mistake. I'am worried about being hurt because I didn't learn right or took it to fast.
And I have never rode a dirtbike just ATV's here and there but I know that doesn't count for anything

I agree that the best way to learn is through the motorcycle safety foundation but it isn't a requirement – especially if you have a friend with experience riding to give you some tips.

The best bike to learn on is the kind of motorcycle you want to be riding long term. If you ultimately want a sport bike, then that is what you should go with. Riding a dirtbike is different so experience you get with that won't translate exactly. People learning to ride in the dirt is better because if you fall it won't hurt as much but riding on dirt, grass or gravel feels VERY different and it is VERY easy to slip. Traction on pavement is much better.

Hi, I am 13 and i was wondering wat is the law driving a dirt bike on the streets in nj? is it legal? A dirt bike or and atv do i need a liscen platE?
how can i make it street legal?
also a golfcart?

Dirt bikes are prette much outlawed on any road anywhere, some places and towns will give you the slip becuase its just a simple way of getting around the country side

to be legal it must be a model with blinkers/lights/speedo, for example

honda Crf 250 = 250cc standard dirtbike 4 strke , Honda Xr 250 = 250cc 4 strke dirtbike road worthy with light/blinkers etc

in the developing countries cars are swaped for quads but nothing like that in america, i know it sux i used to use mine to go to my friends places and around the roads till i got caught

How can I convince my parents to getting a ATV or dirt bike?

First you have to show that you have thought everything out. Where will you ride and how will you get there? Do you have friends who ride also or a public track so that you will not be riding alone? (Got to think safety – parents appreciate that) Riding gear is very important and must be included. (Safety again – I broke my foot once jumping basically because I crashed and was wearing my Nike shoes instead of my riding boots and the bike landed on left foot) Who is paying for everything? (If they are paying, you should show that you are willing to make some kind of sacrifice or contribution) Lastly, I would suggest the dirt bike myself as I was able to learn more tricks and have more fun on it and they are easier to get one that is the right size for you no matter your age.
