Get him to the hospital!! I'd call 911 if your not close to hospital. He could be showing s/s of shock, and the bad thing is kids compensate so well for shock thats it often overlooked early. Then they crash and it's too late. Scared or not he needs to be checked for internal bleeding!
I have a 1997 kx80 and i just rebuilt the top end
i had to buy a pusher clutch for it so i put that on to
i didnt run it yet but when i put it in first gear and hit the clutch lever it does not engage the clutch to make it move freely in first gear help me please

I cant be sure with your info but 2 things come to mind. 1 is the clutch cable adjusted proper. second did you oil the clutches good before you assembled it. i would adjust the cable so that you have a small amount of play in the cable and start it to see what happens. the new friction plates may need to soak up more oil.
I have a 125cc pit bike. its basicly a dirt bike but with smaller tires. Its a four stroke but just has a kick starter. My method for compression start is as follows…
Turn run switch to run.
pull in clutch
get rolling down hill
release clutch
apply gas

Will my bike weely? what gear is best.

Thanx

How on earth do you do a wheelie going down hill.?

After racing off-road most of my life I find myself at a loss here… What exactly is a "Semi Pro"?

I professional semi truck driver?

A pro that only gets paid part of the time?

99.9% of all sanctioning bodies I've raced with and am familiar with basically break the classes up into C (or beginner), B (novice), A (expert) & Pro or AA (money class). A few run both AA and Pro with the AA being a trophy paying class for fast riders who want to retain their amature status.

Most organizations will allow anyone off the street to sign up in the faster classes, especially and in particularly the pro/money class, so the easiest answer to your question is simple.

Go sign up.

Then, unless your a truely gifted rider whom the likes of come around one in a life time, be prepared to have your ass handed to you on a platter. These guys don't play. In fact, I'm convienced that most of them change into thier riding gear in phone booths… (Look! Up in the sky! …)

Train, ride, race. Repeat.

If your good, folks will notice. If your average, the worse thing that can happen is you have a ball and spend a wad of money.

Good luck!

Hi i have been riding a honda pee wee 50 for abut 4 years and am looking to buy a better bike i was thinking of getting a honda 2007 cr125r plz help plus i have never used a bike with gears (but my dad can teach me)

That would not be my recommendation. Learning to ride your first bike with gears on a 125 MX bike is going to be interesting to say the least. Probably the hardest bike to learn on. You would do much better on a CRF150R expert or CRF250R. Don't get me wrong, you can ride it, but it will be very difficult.
I dont my friend does who is right???
Dirt bikes

You should but you dont absolutly have to. Lets just put it this way, if you don't eventually it will wear down and you will have to replace it.

A pro told me that if you let off the gas just the slightest bit just for a fraction of a sec so that you aren't putting a load on it, you can shift without clutching. It doesn't have to be for a long time just enough time for you to shift to ease up the load on the changing gears so that you dont end up grinding down the gears.

I ride my gear'd cycle very well can do practically anything on it..

If you are wanting to learn how to ride a motorcycle, I suggest buying an older model motorcycle. I worked at a Motorcycle shop for a while and the one mistake alot of people said was they tried to learn how to ride on a dirtbike first. Dirtbikes handle so much diffrently. Motorcycle handlebars don't turn near as far as dirtbikes and you really need to learn to lean into the curves more.
I need to no like everything about it, to click up or down before I add gas then just the lever part, I no how to use the clutch

I believe you want to know how to shift a dirt MOTORcycle. When to shift is mostly by feel and engine load. How to shift is a tricky thing, The clutch really only needs to be used to stop the transfer of power to the rear wheel. Once the motorcycle is moving you can shift by just going up or down on the shift lever, being that the gears in the transmission are strait-cut they can be up-shifted or down at any time. The use of the clutch is mostly for starting, stopping and any time you need to stop power to the rear wheel. If you've never done this before just be cautious. After you've dumped the mc a few times you'll want to buy a mtn bike, you can ride it almost anywhere and it won't annoy the neighbors.
On a dj bike such as the barracuda hacker or magna have near enough the same ratio as a bmx for example a haro f5?
Dirt bikes

It's personal preference, but most dj's like to have something close to a 2.5:1 ratio. Track riders like it higher (harder), and park riders often do 2.5 or 2.0. For dj's, if you don't have a good drop-in to use as a run up to the first jump, then you might want a higher gear to help you get more speed. For someone in a skatepark, some tricks are easier to do with a lower gear.

To get your ratio, just divide the sprocket teeth by your rear cog teeth. 36 divided by 14 equals 2.57….or a 2.5:1 ratio.

Hope that helps some….and remember that you can always change your gearing to how you like it, no matter what kind of riding you're doing. :o )

How can I convince my parents to getting a ATV or dirt bike?
Dirt bikes

First you have to show that you have thought everything out. Where will you ride and how will you get there? Do you have friends who ride also or a public track so that you will not be riding alone? (Got to think safety – parents appreciate that) Riding gear is very important and must be included. (Safety again – I broke my foot once jumping basically because I crashed and was wearing my Nike shoes instead of my riding boots and the bike landed on left foot) Who is paying for everything? (If they are paying, you should show that you are willing to make some kind of sacrifice or contribution) Lastly, I would suggest the dirt bike myself as I was able to learn more tricks and have more fun on it and they are easier to get one that is the right size for you no matter your age.
