Go out to the national forest on the north end of lake Conroe. There are over one hundred miles of riding trails.I got lost out there for 6 hours one day, before I found my truck.I took a GPS on the next trip.
I’m a 17 year old girl and i want to learn out to ride a dirt bike, but i’m not sure which kind of bike i need to get.

I also am a girl motocrosser. I started on a crf250r and it was tall so i got another 250- a yz250f. and ended up breaking my leg on it due to my height and not being able to touch the ground. I am 5 foot 4 but have short llegs. So I bought a yz85 and it is perfect for me. But I would say if you have the money to get a crf150r expert because they are a little taller for taller riders and a four stroke is a lot easier to ride than a 2 stroke, especially for a beginner. I would say got to a motocross shop and ask to sit on the bikes, even if you are getting a used bike sit on all of the bikes close to 85′s and 150′s in height. and make sure you can touch the ground- cause with boots it makes it a tad harder to tip toe to the ground.
I'm just getting back into riding and looking to do some on the weekends. What would be the best bike for me. Not looking to race or anything like that.

Depends where you are riding and how big you are. I had a KX125, and it was great. I rode on mountain bike trails and powerlines. I had no problems handling it, so I thought a 250 would be no problem either. I sold it, and bought a KDX220. It was a little bigger and heaver, but had more power and was more of a trail bike as opposed to a motocross, so I figured there would be no problem handling it. But it was just too heavy for me. I could handle it going fast on straightaways, but going slow on narrow trails around trees was a problem. I'm 6' tall, but I only weigh about 150. If you're getting back into it and not riding all the time, I would recommend a 125 or 250F.
I rode a 125 earlier and it was comftorble but what would you guys reccomend? I'm 16, 5'7, 130 lbs.

Honda crf250 for motocross or performance riding or a crf230 for a trail bike.
I'm buying this bike at this website: http://www.scooterdepot.us/Motocross-Style-200cc-Super-Dirt-Bike-p-409.html

I'd like to get some feedback on this bike, has anyone bought it and liked it or hated it? Are the no brand dirt bikes good bikes.

These bikes are total garbage! Seriously. I know a few people that have bought these Chinese made bikes just because they were cheep and after spending hours, sometimes days, trying to get them to run, the motors were junk in just a few rides.

Parts are completely unavailable. As in they don't even make any spare parts.

The 200cc bikes don't even have the power of a Honda XR100 that is half the size.

Im 13 years old and 5'4 what kinda of dirt bike could i ride in motocross?

Go for a 250f you are a bit short but your going to grow into it just get some starting blocks if ure going to race. honda and suzukis seem a bit smaller so one of those might be worth a try you can get different linkage that makes the bikes smaller and you can drop the forks in the clamps as well they also do cut out seats so you should be ok on the 250f's
Dimensions?

Well, of course there would be….if you could show me a 250cc "Pit" bike I'd be happy to point them out.

By definition, a "Pit Bike" is a small bike, usually ridden around in the pit area at races, etc. You'll usually find the 50cc variety bored out up to 192cc- small bikes that have been modified with aftermarket parts.
They grew from being a mode of transportation in the pits to being fully modified little race bikes that are used in competitions specifically designed for that type of bike.
Pit bikes typically don'y get much bigger than 150cc. No standard definition of what constitutes a pit-bike by any major governing body exits, but the normal requirement is a 10"-14" front wheel, and a 10"-12" rear.

When you are up in the 250cc range you are looking at a full fledged motorcycle. Either a motocross or trail bike, 250cc isn't considered a pit bike.

Hey you might be interested to know Honda is coming out with a 230 enduro version for 2008 that is street legal! check out there official web site to see it .
When you say capability what are you referring to ?
Are you going to do free style ,motocross, trail riding or street.
The 230 is a very dependable bike ,one of Honda's oldest engine formats .they have been putting this motor in there stuff in some form or another for 30 plus years.thus the Chinese knock off bikes are trying to copy them due to the patents expiring on them ,though the Chinese ones don't have the same reliability as the Honda's do .
If you can be more specific with your intentions for the bike i can make a more precise recommendation.

I'm eighteen years old, 5'10" and about 160lbs. This is the first dirtbike that I would be getting so all I'm looking for is comfort, speed, and it should be good-quality but mainly I'm just looking for something to fool around on and have fun with. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Also, I've never ridden before and the bike has to be off-road
and it should be $3,500 or less

Suzuki DRZ400S
that is the greatest dirt bike you can get, plus you can choose either the dirt or street legal model, mostly they are the same bike.
This bike can be ridden off road as good as any professional motocross bike, you can jump this bike 30 feet, the suspension can handle it, this bike is very reliable, quick and fast, lightweight, easy to ride and handle, high ground clearance , I'm the same height and it fits me perfect
Well I've been thinking about getting a dirt bike and I'm a big guy and don't know what size would be good for me I havn't weighed myself in ever but I would have to say I'm between 250 and 300 probably closer to 300 but not sure any one know what size bike I should get like as in engine or anything idk any one have any suggestions?

Speaking as a big guy, if you're in it for trail riding DRZ400, WR450F, or CRF450X. The last 2 are more for a racing style but a 400 4 stroke would be good, motocross ..beginner 250 2-stroke (YZ250 or CR250) mainly because they are easier to work on than a 4-stroke. I personally would not recommend a 125 2-stroke or a 250 4-stroke because of your size… lets just say the zero to 60 quotient is a high number. But the first thing I would do, new springs front and back (100 dollars an end) would be a must (like I said, speaking as a big guy, I didnt do that and I ended up w/ a decent wreck) and maybe a taller seat, lower pegs and a highbend handlebar. If you get the 2-stroke and you are a beginner, I'd either get a bigger flywheel or get a bike w/ not much of a power hit. You could get an exhaust pipe that controls that (FMF Gnarly w/ Turbine Core 2 of Q2 silencer). 4-Strokes dont have that much of a hit but are really torquey, the trade off is that they are hard to work on but now are much easier to find aftermarket parts for because thats the way the industry is going. With any bike you get, buy a Clymer service manual, trust me, its a must. Hope this helps
