Go to BBRMOTORSPORTS.COM and get a Powroll Thrust Chamber and you will get the performance of a aftermarket exhaust without spending 300 bones. Then get a rev box. It will let your motor rev past the stock limit witch will give you more hp. That is a good hp gain for under a 100 bones.

If you want to spend a little more money you can have the flywheel lightened at BBR for a hundred bucks. This will let you motor rev like a 2-stroke and make it pick up RPM's fast. If you do alot of wide open riding, this is the thing to do. "This will take away some of your bottom end."

If you still want more than get a big bore kit. If you do go with the big bore kit thin you will need to go with 26mm carb. The stock carb was not made to handle a bigger bore than stock.
P.S.- It is better to buy a complete kit than have the stock cyl. bore. Watch e-bay for these items and do not buy a china knock-off.

Riding boots, you want to keep your feet looking good. I have seen feet crushed, gashed, burnt etc. Be safe first. They are making girls gear more girlie now. Great to see women ride.
I am 13 years old. Just started riding literally 4 months ago. I currently have a crf230f but i am 6 foot and 170lbs. I want to race and crfs cannot race. I dont know what to get. HELP ME OUT!!

Depends on what your style is me personally would get a 250 sice your pretty big and only thirteen you will grow pretty fast. a 125 was made for a 180 or lighter person so you will weigh more than that in the future probably. Also, with racing a 4 stroke is alot more work in the long run. So if you you have someone to service it or if you know how definetly go for the 4 stroke (crf250) If not cr250 or yz250.

Its not a possibiltiy your gonna get hurt its just how bad and when every time i ride my bike i get hurt most the time not bad enough to put it away but what happens is after a while of riding you get relaxed and think your in control and on a bike its not about being in control its about keeping guidance of the bike cause as soon as you think your in control the bike will let you know who is really boss i've had a 49cc bike put me back in my place after getting to cocky and thinking this little thing i can make it do what i want and it doesnt have enough power to hurt its self nexted thing you know at 50mph going down the road the bike was riding me lol so its not about if its when

Move to South Carolina I have 3 MX tracks with in a 50 mile stretch not to mention the land mass you can just go ride on and make your own track. And I have no idea why I am telling you this…. It's not like your gonna pack up and move just to ride bikes. I guess I just want the 2 points. good luck and ride safe
Im 6'0' and wiegh 170lbs what kind of bike should i get and where

1st what type of dirt riding? You thinking XC, DH, FR? What's you budget?
My boyfriend rides a Yamaha dirt bike, and after he rides (regardless of which track he is on) the tires have a blue tint to them. Anyone know why? He asked me, and so help me look smarter than he is! :-)

Exhaust from the dirt bikes exits and the heavier partials, unburned oil partials, fall into the dirt. The rubber tires have a reaction with the oil making them slightly blue. So the answer is the oil in the dirt.
I am 13 5 9' and 170 pounds. I already have a Kx100 witch I am looking to sell. But i am looking for a bigger 4 stroke. For trail riding and for racing. Any suggestions on what to get and where to get it for cheap? Thanx

Go bigger then a 125. for being 13 and 5'9 you can pretty much get any bike you want. your gonna grow some more so the height of a bike isn't an issue. because your age i would stay away from a 450 but maybe try like a crf250r. it has tons of power for a 250 and you won't grow out of it.

A bike doesn't need to have a 100% Chromo frame and saying it'll break because of this isn't true. When a bike is said to have a 4130 Chromo main frame they are referring to the two main (long) tubes - the top tube & down tube and the seat tube (which is the one the saddle & post are clamped into). You'll normally find the other tubes will be made from high tensile steel and this being the case it should be plenty strong enough as long as the welding is up to the job.

You'll find at this price that the components will be the bits you'll have issues with. Cheaper 3 piece cranks tend to be amongst the first parts to go. You'll often find the splines (the small grooves that hold the crank arm in place on the bottom bracket axle) will strip meaning you'll have to replace them pretty quickly. And no, before anyone pipes up - it won't be covered by warranty if you've been using the bike for jumping / park riding. Even though the bike is designed for this, it'll be excluded from the warranty cover.

Another thing you may need to think about changing pretty quickly would be the wheels. Off the peg wheels tend to be pretty poorly built. Look for something with steel rims (heavier but stronger and better braking), 48 spoke and with a serviceable hub. No point going for cartridge bearings when the wheels are going to take a kicking. And they will. especially if you're learning to jump!

Take a look at the Specialized Fuse Two & Three. Both have good frames and a good level of equipment. The Fuse Three at $400 has a full Chromo frame and slightly lighter wheels. Otherwise have a look for the GT Bump at around $300. All good places to start.

Whatever you get, don't expect it to be unbreakable. Even the really expensive ones get busted, especially if you're just getting started. Remember to save some money for pads & a helmet. And have fun!

I went to a motorcycle / offroad / speed boat dealership. I was looking at the dirt bike. I am 5'10 or 5'11 weighing in at 150-160 pounds (might lose weight during football season).

Now I want a dirt bike to ride around a forrest preserve next to my house and just to ride around, not racing or to do jumps / tricks with.

The sales man recommended the CRF150F to me and said for my body it will fit me like a glove. I sat on it, felt pretty good. Do you guys recommend that bike for me?

The dealer said they are reliable and it would cost me about $4,000 with tax. Now as a first bike should I buy it new, or used. Should I asked for used bikes and would other stores sell used or purely new.
woops, wrong topic sorry. Please still answer if you can help though!

That is a really good bike but I would not suggest getting a brand new bike for your first one. I have been riding for a while and have learned there are two kinds of riders, the ones that have crashed and the ones that are going to. I would suggest getting one that is a few years old just because you will go down at least once and most likely the first time it is on your first bike.
